Schools | Due to the forecasted excessive heat and out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our students and staff, Bristol Public Schools will have an emergency early dismissal, today, Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
PM-Pre K is cancelled and All Afterschool activities are cancelled, with exception to the following: Middle School and High School Athletics will follow their respective heat protocols
- Boys and Girls Club Houses will provide aftercare until 4:00pm.-
All schools will dismiss according to the following inclement weather schedule:

We will be flushing on the East Side and the West Side simultaneously. We will continue flushing these areas until the next area is posted. The following areas may be affected: West Side - North Main Street, Center Street, Valley Street, Race Street, Foley Street, Meadow Street, Laurel Street, North Street, Lincoln Street, Ingraham Place, and some of the surrounding areas. East Side -
