He will cover: 1. the waters flowing into the river from different directions 2. The early importance of the river to the growth of our community, 3. the earliest industries located along the river and their importance and necessities, 4. The shifting of the river to build the Memorial Boulevard, and 5. The Flood of 1955 and how it effected this area.

After a very successful 15 year run with Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble, Rich Theriault will be celebrating his final concert as music director. Please join us on Sunday April 21, 2024 at 3 PM. The concert will be held at Bristol Eastern High School where Rich spent a large portion of his career as a Bristol Public Schools music educator.
Rich Theriault and assistant director Kyle Camerato have selected some of Rich’s favorite Wind Ensemble pieces to highlight points in Rich’s musical conducting career.
Musical selections will include Pageant by Vincent Persichetti, Festive Overture Opus 96 by Dmitri Shostakovich, The Sinfonians Symphonic March by Clifton Williams, The DamBusters by Eric Coates, Balladair by Frank Erickson and the Superman March by John Williams.
